How to make our 'Cheeky Chai'

Are you a Cheeky Chai virgin?

It’s nothing to be ashamed of, your first time is always a little awkward, not knowing what goes where. Luckily though, you’ve got us! We’ve ‘been there, done that’ a million times and are well versed in the anatomy of a good Chai, so listen up, take notes and get ready to master the cheeky art of Chai.

The following is a slightly more detailed version of our ‘How To’ than what you’ll find on the back of the pack, because let’s face it, when it comes to your first time, the more informed you are the better.

Place around 2 teaspoons of our Cheeky Chai loose leaf blend into a small saucepan (a copper one is usually best), add half a cup of milk and let the two ingredients get acquainted. We recommend Almond or Soy.

Bring to the boil (it’s getting hot in here!) and then simmer for around 3-5 minutes until the milk is a beige/brown colour, as this will mean it has infused with the blend.

Drizzle in a teaspoon of honey to make the whole experience that little bit sweeter and allow a 60 second cool down before that first sip. You’ve waited this long to pop the Cheeky Chai cherry, what’s a little longer?

With moves like this you’ll fool anyone into thinking you’ve done this before, but if your performance (and your cuppa) leaves something to be desired, don’t stress - practice makes perfect ;)
